Confidence, maybe...

Since the weather is so bad outside, I planted some Jalepenos inside. I was really worried for a while because nothing was coming up. Finally, about 3 days ago, I got little sprouts. Now, 7 of the 9 seeds I planted are up and doing well! I was so excited, I started dancing and jumping around. Jacob had no idea what to do. If you can't beat them, join them. And that is what he did. He started dancing with me! It gave me a little bit of confidence that maybe, just maybe, I can do this whole garden thing. I'm really excited to do this and hopefully I can get some stuff up. Things are starting to come together around here. Now if only the wind would stop, it would be a good day! Today, Jacob and I were running to the bank and went passed the temple. He LOVES the temple. So we stopped and walked around for a little bit and looked at the flowers. It made me happy because despite the weather, the flowers are gorgeous! Jacob looked to the top of the temple and noticed the angel on top. So I told him that he was blowing a horn. So now Jacob goes around saying "A temple, a horn, toot toot!" It is so cute! He grows and learns so quickly.

Hi Val,

It was so fun to get to see you today! Your house is sooooo cute! You and Joe have truly have made it a "home". Jacob is adorable, I really hope the darn wind stops, for his sake.

Your pepper plants looked great! Give them a few weeks to get bigger and hopefully the weather will get warmer, and they will be perfect to put out in your garden with a hot cap.

Give Jacob some kisses - toot toot! How precious! Love you.

Don't worry. I never plant my garden until AFTER memorial day weekend, and I have a huge really plentiful garden. Idaho just sucks, that's all there is to it!

You can do it.....gardening is so much fun and so fulfilling!! If only the weather would cooperate so I could get ours planted! Jacob is so cute, such a big boy!

Good job!! I always buy the plants that are already full grown, so it is awesome that you are starting from the begining.

That Jacob is just too funny. It is good that he loves the temple already. Give him a big hug for me!! Love, Laura
