If you haven't been outside, or don't live in Eastern Idaho, then you have noticed that the wind has been horrible. I hate the wind. It puts me in a bad mood, it makes Jacob grumpy, and we are limited at what we can do. What do you guys do to either change your mood, or other activities that you can do inside. Jacob has a very short attention span, so things that take a long time to do are hard. I know I shouldn't let the wind get to me, but I can't help it. I get irritable and grumpy. So, what do you guys do to beat the wind?

Trenton likes to paint, so I bought some Crayola kid's paints and we paint extra pieces of 2x4's and styrofoam bowls. It can get a little messy, but at least it's washable. We also have made the little magnets out of clear, flat marbles. I cut circles out of the paper he chooses and then he mod podges them to the back of the marbles. We use the sticky magnet strips so that he can put the magnet on too. It's pretty simple and quick and he loves to play with them on the fridge! Hope that helps!
I am so hoping that the weather will soon get better. Jacob is at a very hard age to entertain. Pack him in the car and come and see me. We can do some fun things. Love you.
The wind drives me crazy! I like to just curl up with a good book when the wind blows - but I don't have a two year old!! Pop popcorn and watch kids movies, make a tent out of chairs and blankets, make play dough, have him take some pictures with your camera - then post them! But, most of all, just have fun, the weather will clear up . . . eventually! Love you
One of the favorites of the kids at work is to draw faces and pictures in shaving cream on the table. And besides that it cleans pretty good too! And there's always the favorites of making cookies or play dough.
