Front Yard Before and After

We have finally done something with our horrible looking flower bed out front. Our friend's brother is out of school for a 7 week break and is staying with her. We had him come over and weed our front flower bed. It needed it. Bad! I'm just sad we didn't get a before and after of that. However, Joe is very proactive and decided to make sure that the weeds don't come up again. He got Weed Block and bark. Some pretty plants (that's where I came in), and plant food. We were set. It didn't take near as long as I though and looks fantastic! Here are the before and afters:
