Jacob's Doctor Update

As the title suggests, we went to Jacob's one year checkup today. We were a bit late, but I guess better late than never, right? He is perfectly healthy and growing like a weed. He is 22 lbs. (42%) and 31.5 inches (72%, but the guy that measured him didn't do it right. He couldn't remember how he did it and so he measured him shorter than he was...oh well.) Sadly, he had to get immunizations today. 5 of them and the nurses asked me to hold down his knees while they stuck him. I felt like I was betraying him. At least it's over. And it didn't seem to affect him at all. As I was paying the receptionist, Jacob decided to run into the back rooms. The receptionists reply was "Wow! Those shots didn't corner him at all, did they?" Nope! They never do. And as I had him up on the table getting him back into his clothes he ripped off two of the bandaides and thought it was really funny that they stuck to his fingers. What a little cutie!!
