Not much has been happening lately, but I just thought I would catch everyone up to our busy lives. Joe is working like a mad man lately, but really, what's new. He won't be home until about 8 tonight and he has to work until 9 on Friday and until 6 on Saturday. I know that may not seem late, but it is when he doesn't ever work Saturdays. He also bought his second gun just a little while ago. The first gun he bought was a rifle, then he got a sweet deal on a hand gun. He has seriously been out every Saturday shooting up a storm.
Next is me. School is almost out and I couldn't be happier. It has been an insane semester and much harder than I anticipated. Having a 1 year old, a husband, household duties, and living 30 minutes from the college is difficult. Therefore, I have made a decision. I am going to hold off going to school for a while. I know what you are thinking..."Didn't she just start back up?" I know, I know. But it's more than I can handle and I think that more important things need to come before homework. But on a happy note, I only have 3 days of classes left and no homework. Just finals I need to study for. But so far, so good. I honestly have done better than I thought I ever would but I don't know if I can handle 3 more semesters of it then student teaching. It will be put on the back burner for I don't know how long.
Jacob's turn. He has hit the terrible 2's and he just turned 1. Okay, so that may be an exaggeration but he can throw a tantrum with the best of them. He's definetely a quick learner. He has found a new toy that I think is hilarious. A (never been used) feather duster. He just walks around with it and when we are leaving and I try to leave it here, he throws a fit until I give it back to him. I know, not the best mothering practice to give him what he wants but honestly, I think it's funny. The only place we have brought it was to my mom's because she was watching him for a while. So it's not like we are going grocery shopping with it. I think it's funny.
On a side note. I have found some awesome websites. #1- www.sugardoodle.net. Has some awesome church/teaching ideas or just some awesome ideas. If you are looking for general conference packets, they have a ton on there that are fabulous. #2- www.servingpinklemonade.blogspot.com it is a lady that puts ideas out for bored kids or things to do with kids but you seriously don't have to have kids to go on. it is amazing!!!
Alright, enough blabbing, Gilmore Girls is coming on!
