Our Crazy Life!

I can't seem to get caught up on anything lately. I will go to do something and something else comes up. Darn life! Seems to get busier the older you get. But it is a good busy. We had so much in the past couple of weeks, I made a list of it so that I could update you all on what has been going on and not leave things out. So here goes:
~We have had a bunch of sickies. Luckily it wasn't me so I could actually take care of them. Joe had a sinus infection (at least, that is what we thought it was.) And Jacob had a high fever (103 degrees) and was just tired all the time. It lasted about 2-3 days. Those were the only symptoms and it stumped the doctor as to what it was. Crazy. Good thing we are all back to better health. Joe still has lingering side effects but is mostly out of the sickness. Thank goodness!
~New babies!! My sister had her little girl on Tuesday. As did my cousin, Jessica. They had their babies 40 minutes apart! Crazy! Heather's little baby was 7 lb. 20 inches and lots and lots of black hair! Little Jane is already very loved by a big brother and lots of cousins! (Sorry the picture is so small. I snagged it from my sister)

~I recently started a Zumba class. It is so much fun!! It is basically Latin dancing but exercising. And the teacher turns the lights off (better for all the others so they don't have to see all of this trying to dance!!) So basically for an hour, I get to pretend I can dance, and get an awesome work out from it!! Love it! You can look them up here and see if there are classes near you if you are interested!
~Jacob went to the doctor on Tuesday for his 3 year appointment. He is doing great! Growing like he should, talking, walking, and developing like he should. He also had to get a lead test done (they had to draw blood) and he was SUCH a good boy! He just laid there holding my hand and let them do what they needed. He got a blue sucker out of it and lots of hugs and kisses from mommy (well, he always gets those, but they seem to help the wound heal faster!). He is drawing things that I don't think a 3 year old should be yet. Like cars, people, and suns. Obviously nothing fancy. But you can tell what they are. For a person, it is a circle with arms and legs coming out of the face. Eyes and a smile. Lately, it has been a sun. Here is a picture of what he does.

~Yesterday we went to my niece Tianna's science play. It was so cute!! Jacob loved when he got to clap! She did awesome. Here are some pictures of it.

Answer: Nasty facial hair! Gotta love it! (Yes, he shaved it off!)
