Along with the change of the weather, things have been changing for us a lot. First off, we bought a house. Which we are thrilled about. We love it. I think the one thing that I didn't want to lose when moving was the ward. I absolutely loved the ward we were in and our calling. We were the primary teachers for 10-11 year olds. I grew to love the kids and looked forward to seeing them each week. They all already have such a testimony of the gospel and are all so smart. I learned something new from them every week. we went to our ward's sacrament for the first time this past week. I'm not going to lie, it was overwhelming. There are a TON of people and even more kids. It was all noisy and busy, even during the sacrament. It will take some getting used to but I'm sure we will love it as soon as we start going to more than the sacrament meeting. (side note:we were going to go to all of it but I read it wrong. It said worship service was at 10:50, so that is when we go. Right before we left, I checked again and it said other classes started at 9. Oops!)
Jacob. Oh my Jacob. He is growing so fast. We changed his crib into a toddler bed this past weekend. Naps are horrible so far. He thinks it's play time, so he runs out all the time and when he doesn't, he's in there playing with his toys. Nights are different than that though. He goes down really easy and loves his bed. But this morning at 3 he started screaming. I jumped out of bed and ran in there and he was on his head. His legs were on the bed and his head on the floor. He fell off, poor little guy. I think that if it were any other time of day, it would have been funny, but since I was so tired, I just went and fixed it. But, everytime he goes into his room, he says ni-ni and goes and lays on his bed. He loves it!!
We went to the doctor for his 18 month check up. He has totally sprouted since last time, and it was only 3 months ago. He has a big head. His head circumfrence is 100%. Fat head! His weight is 26.5 lbs. That is 55 %. Then the biggy. He is 34.5 inches. That puts him at the 93% for height. Last time he was in the 60% for height. He is growing like a weed. He grew 3 inches in 3 months. Holy Cow!
I'm not oppossed to change. I actually really like it. I miss the little baby Jacob but on the same note, I love to watch him grow. He is such a joy and a blessing. He is just so smart it amazes me.
On a completely random note, has anyone read Hunger Games???? Absolutely my favorite book right now!! I just went out and bought the second book. I can't wait to read it. Is it just me or is everyone else obsessed with the book!?
Our big boy. He is just so tall.
Helping daddy change his crib to a bed. He has a little screwdriver and is trying to take out screws.
Lovin' his bed. What a cutie!

I am totally obsessed. I got the new book last week, gobbled it up, then went back and reread Hunger Games and now I am rereading Catching Fire. And even though I know what happens, I still can't put it down! I'm not getting anything done! I totally need to get over this, but it is just like Twilight all over again. I'm glad you like it, because Michelle was the only one who had listened to Hunger Games, and she didn't even want to read the second one. Now I have someone to analyze everything with!
Oh my goodness. He is so big. But still a baby in my mind. He is such a sweetheart. Love you.
I can't believe how fast Jacob is growing, he is such a cutie! I think he will be tall, like his daddy! I can't wait to see your new house either - I hear it is sooo cute. Hunger Games...sounds interesting, I'm always looking for a good read, I'll have to check it out!
I really want to read Hunger Games, I will have to check it out. That little Jacob just kills me.... he is too cute. It is super hard to get used to a new ward. And I love your house, isn't it great to have your own place!!!
