We had an eventful day. It was full of candy and memories! He started the day off at preschool and went "trick or treating" there. Each child was able to bring candy and hand it out to each other. He came home with a boat load of candy already, and it wasn't even noon yet! We then went to the library for their special story time and trick or treating around the library. Jacob loves this!!
After that, we had to bring parts to Joe in Ririe. On the way home, we were passing the cemetery in Ririe where a lot of my family is buried. Including my grandpa Taylor. Who passed away 28 years ago today. So we stopped. I told Jacob a little ( what I knew) about him. He passed away before I was born. As we were sitting at his headstone, Jacob said, "If I had a live gun, I would make him be alive again. I would have liked to know him." It was adorable and I am almost certain grandpa Taylor would have to agree.
We then headed to our trunk or treat in Ucon where he scored More candy! And made the rounds to family. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of that. We are now sitting and watching The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown and winding down. We had a great Halloween and now I say...Bring on the Holidays!!
