The Conference Center

On Sunday, we toured the Conference Center.  I seriously learned so much about the place.  For example, did you know that all together it is over 1 million square feet?  Or that it wasn't dedicated until it was paid for (which they do for any church building being dedicated.  It cannot be paid for if it hasn't been paid for in full).  Here are some pictures I got while there.

There are rooms behind here for the the prophet and apostles and the choir.  Crazy!
The ginormous painting.  Joe is standing by it for a reference point as to how big it really is!

The water fall outside the window. Pretty!

The painting of President Monson.  It looked so  real!
A stained glass picture, but the faces looked real.  It was pretty insane.

They have the landscape up on the top as natural as possible.  It really looked like I was at some cabin in Island Park.  Yet, I was on top of a huge building in the middle of a huge city.
This one is for Joe.  This is where the air conditioners are.  There were several of these.
