Vegas Trip Days 4 and 5

Days 4 and 5 were our last days in Vegas, and I dare say, the most eventful. Day 4 was Sunday, and we hung out most of the day. Then after Michelle got out of her new ward, we went to check out the Las Vegas Temple. B-E-A-UTIFUL!! I loved it! And then went to hang out in our hotel room. It was HUGE! About 27 stories (I think). Michelle started jumping on the bed and the fire alarm went off! She thought that she had done something! Absolutely hilarious! However, trying to evacuate a building that has thousands of people in it, not so much. But still an adventure. Some kid pulled the alarm (so they tell us...) and was a complete accident and nothing was wrong!

Day 5 we left bright and early. Okay, so it was 10:30. We said goodbye to Michelle (sniff, sniff) and grabbed breakfast. At 10:30 in the morning our thermometer said that it was 96 degrees outside. Blast that is hot! The next 12 hours were spent in the car. We watched How to Train Your Dragon 6 times and pulled over to go to the bathroom 50 times! Or so it felt. But Joe did get to stop at Chick-Fil-A in Utah. And then in Brigham City, we stopped and checked out the temple they are building there! It was great and is already really pretty. We got home close to 11 and Jacob didn't sleep a wink of it. He, however, did sleep in until about 11:30 the next morning! It was a fabulous trip and we saw some awesome things, but it sure is good to be home! Now the pictures!

It was so stinkin' hot here that it melted crayons in our car. Not even a joke!!

Getting ready to head back.

Bored...

Brigham City Temple at sundown. It was beautiful.
