Anyone ever hear that growing up?? Jacob would have today, if he would have understood what that really meant! I now know what my mom went through, except times 5. I went shopping today and was trying to get some of the Christmas shopping done. Jacob has his cousin, Kyle to get for this year. They are the same age and have pretty similar taste in toys. So, I thought I would ask Jacob if Kyle would like something and if he liked it. Not a good idea. Just so you know! Jacob has been asking to play with what we got Kyle for a while. But before that he wanted to play with what he got. A Buzz Lightyear bottle of bubble bath. Really??? Sorry to Barbara and Jessica and my mom for seeing the wonderful tantrum that was thrown. For like an hour and a half. Lovely. Then as we were leaving, he informed me that he was leaving to go get a buzz Lightyear from the store. It is good because his is getting excited for Christmas and Santa and toys, but it is bad because he does not get the concept of waiting just a little longer. This will be a pretty long 2 weeks! Hopefully, I can come up with some fun things to do to occupy our time and get a little mind off of certain toys that he wants.
On the other hand, here are some pictures that my cousin, Jessica took of our family. They turned out so good!!! Thanks a million Jess!
I had to put this one on here! It is infamous at this photo shoot. He wouldn't cooperate. SO we said to say Buzz Lightyear! He would say it but also shoot his arms out pretending to be like him. Pretty funny but took forever to get a descent picture!

Much better! Look at those baby blues!

A family picture! I think it turned out so good. Notice the red spot on Jacob's cheek. He face planted right before starting. Always something right! I swear, he's more accident prone than I am! And that is saying something. But he is just so dang cute!

I had to add this one! I love how it turned out. It was much needed. The last one like this was taken years ago. I think I was a Junior or so in high school. Man. That seems like forever ago.

Hi Val!
It was so fun to see you and Jacob yesterday - sorry for the upset!
Jacob was just being a typical two year old, no worries, please! Christmas is always a hard time of year for little ones, they sometimes just don't understand what this . . . gift giving thing is all about!
I love the pictures, they turned out so beautiful - but look who the subjects were, of course they would turn out beautiful!!
Hang in there mama, he will only be small for a very short time!
Love you,
Barb

I know that my kids are really excited for Christmas too!! The older they get, the harder it is to distract them. I hope all is going well! We Love you All!!!!
