Our Little Adventure

We were getting a little bit of cabin fever around our house. Jacob has been sick, and I got a little bit of it. We have been in the house for a whole week and NEEDED to get out!! So, after the morning session of conference, we went for a drive. We (as in I) wanted to go to Hiese and go on a little bit of the Cress Creek Hike. Joe gave in and we went a little ways up. The colors are gorgeous!! Jacob loved the walk and it was nice to get out. Not going to lie though, as we were coming down to our car, a family was passing us and the guy had a machete. Not even lying. Why in the world would a guy have that on a paved hike??? But, we weren't affected by it so I was okay! Here are some pictures we took from the little outing. Enjoy!
The Beautiful Colors

Me and my honey!

Jacob climbing a rock. It scared me and Jacob loved it. Joe thought it was awesome. All I could think was that he was going to fall off. Luckily, Joe was right there the whole time with no chance of him falling. And it made for a pretty neat picture.

Yay for adventures! I have an idea about that guy with a machete: several years back before it was paved, I found a marijuana plant up there. I don't think the people that plant those would be dumb enough to let someone see them on the way to harvest it, but then again...
