Poor Little Sicky

My poor little guy is sick. He threw up all last night and couldn't even keep liquids down. We think that Joe gave it to him, because the same thing happened to Joe on Saturday and Sunday. After Jacob kept throwing up, we decided to bring him to Urgent Care. It was about 10:30 and that place was busy!!

There were 2-3 patients already being helped, and 4 more waiting. Seriously, it was late and there shouldn't have been anyone there!

But, it all turned out! I think Heavenly Father knew that we were stressed and tired and just wanted Jacob to get help. So He sent us some unexpected people. There was a couple that had gotten there before us and felt really bad for Jacob.

As we were walking in, Jacob was in the process of throwing up and everyone saw it. Then, as we were sitting there, he threw up 2-3 more times. The couple that came in before us was sitting by us. The guy felt really bad for Jacob and got him water for him to drink and tried to distract Jacob by talking to him. Then the lady, who was the one that needed to go there, went up and told the lady to take Jacob back first! We felt really blessed and grateful for those people in the waiting room last night.

We finally got into the room in the back and they gave Jacob Finegrin (Sp?). Within minutes he was asleep and his stomach had settled a little bit. We finally got to go home at 12. Jacob slept okay, but woke up throwing up about every 30 minutes. Poor little guy! But he is doing so much better today and is finally drinking stuff and even at some scrambled eggs.

We felt so grateful for being watched over by a loving Heavenly Father. Even though Jacob was so miserable and sad, we were blessed with people and nurses and doctors that did all they could to make Jacob comfortable and at ease.

Now just a picture to make the post a little more light! It is Jacob and his little cousin Ethan. We watched him yesterday and Jacob had so much fun sharing his toys and talking to him! Enjoy!
