On Tuesday, we went to the zoo with my mother-in-law and sisters in law and their kids. The zoo was fun!! But we had a picnic afterwards, which I'm sure would have been fun except Jacob just wanted to run around. He kept getting away from everyone and running into the road. Dang kid!! It just got frustrating after about 10 minutes of me trying to eat, trying to get Jacob to eat and him not sitting still...ever. But the zoo was a blast.
I am running in a 5K tomorrow. I feel very under trained, but kind of excited. I'm nervous because I'm not much of a runner. I ran a tiny bit in high school on my own time and started to run a little bit after I had Jacob. I know that I can do it but I just want the weather to cooperate. Hopefully I don't die on the Rexburg hills!
We have onions coming up!! I go out there every day and see if we have anything. I know that it takes a while, I just hope I don't have a black thumb!! My strawberries are doing wonderful, thankgoodness. We have raspberries and strawberries (which for Joe, if he had his way, would be all we would plant!)
I think that's about it. Hopefully we get warmer weather tomorrow!!
Ready to go to the zoo!!
I thought this was hilarious!! It captures exactly how Jacob feels having someone invade his space. He is OCD, I swear he is. When Riley go put in there, Jacob wrapped his arms around himself and leaned all the way over. The kid definetly has his bubble!
So, for a while, Jacob, for some random reason, has wanted to ride a chicken. And at the zoo, lo and behold, they have a big chicken. He finally got to ride his chicken.
All of the Stewart grandkids. Jacob wouldn't hold still so Penny held him so he wouldn't run away. Crazy how grown up they all look.

See you at the 5k! I too am totally undertrained!! I was doing really well in March and April, but lately the weather has been not-so-fun for running (mostly the wind). Just do your best!!
I loved looking at your pictures and reading what you wrote even though I was there. I agree we had a great time!! Thanks again for tinking of it.
