I love this time of year. It is a chance to review the previous year, what you liked and disliked about it, what went well, things that happened. It also gives us a chance to make ourselves better for the upcoming year. I have a notebook that I wrote all of the things that I either want to change or things I want to do in 2010. I just keep adding things to it and the list is now a whole page. Does anyone else do this? I just have such big ideas and things that I want to do. I have always heard that you are more likely to keep New Year's Resolutions if you write them down. I wrote them down in a notebook, but I'll put some of them out there for others to read, that way I feel a little more accountable!
- Michelle and I are going to run a 5K. I never have before and I think the training and runnign before hand will help me get to where I want to be
- I want to plant a garden. We have a huge plot, so if anyone wants to join, there is plenty of room
- I love cooking, so I want to try at least a new recipe each menu (which is every 2 weeks)
- I need to get more organized. Things get kind of messy around here
- I want to write in my journal more. Right now it is once a month if that. In addition to the blog, I want a handwritten journal
If anyone wants to join me and posting some of their resolutions, please do! It's kind of fun to see what others are planning for the upcoming year! Happy New Year, have fun, and be safe!!

I am so glad that you guys had a good Christmas, Jacob is so cute! New year's resolutions are such a hard thing for me, but this year, one of my main goals, is to be more positive. I think if you have a positive outlook on life, bad things just sometimes pass you by (let's hope)! Anyway, keep up the good work, sounds like you are on the right path. Love you, Barb
You are such an inspiration to me. I love your resolutions. I have been thinking a lot about the new year and what I want to accomplish, change, whatever. I too am going to write things down as I think of them. I will let you know when I do that. Love you, Mom
