This past weekend, my family had a reunion that was in Chesterfield. It is a really cool old town that was settled in like 1880. It is past Lava Hot Springs and in the middle of nowhere. But it has some really amazing old houses, stores, and history. Everytime I go there, I get a feeling that I was born in the wrong century. But then I step out of the car, my skin starts to melt, and I'm perfectly happy with my air conditioner and I'll just study the history, instead of live it. Anyway, we decided to make a weekend of it. So, Friday we took off and went to Lava Hot Springs and went swimming and camping. It was Jacob's first time for both and he loved both. At first he wasn't so sure about swimming, but then got used to it and didn't want to leave the pool. Afterwards, we headed to our campsite where we met up with Heather, Ricky, and Kyle and had a blast. Both boys did really well during the night considering that they have never done that before. It was so much fun, thanks everyone!
