As much as I loved living in Ucon, I absolutely love where we are now. Not only is the house everything we dreamed it would be, but the neighborhood. In Ucon, it was great because it was a quiet street, but there was 1 kid Jacob's age in walking distance. Here there are a dozen at least. He has made some great friends here and as a mom, I am hoping that has made his transition easier. I think he and I have had the hardest time with the change.
We are both home bodies and get attached rather quickly. But I feel like now (7 months later!) we are finally getting adjusted. So I figured I would post some pics of the new house (granted, they were taken before we moved in. Honestly, you don't want current ones. We have all been sick and it is a DISASTER!) Enjoy a peek in to our new abode!!
This was the main reason I consented to move. I needed a bigger kitchen. And this is perfect! The island is amazing and the cupboard and panty space is crazy from what we moved from.
A look back at our house before grass and when we didn't have 3 feet of snow and it was nice and warm! Ahh...dreaming of warmer days ahead!
