The Day after Thanksgiving
If anyone knows me, you know that I listen to Christmas music 6 months out of the year, and leave my tree up well into the new year. I LOVE the Christmas season. I have almost all of my shopping done. The only thing left is to wrap presents and wait for my last few packages to arrive. I do however, wait until after Thanksgiving to put up my trees. I'm not sure why, because I don't wait for anything else. But I feel a little sacrilegious putting it up any sooner. So, today being the day after Thanksgiving, and after many persisting comments and questions from Jacob about putting our tree up, I finally broke it out. He LOVED to help and is absolutely beyond excited for Christmas day. And I have to say, there was just something magical about putting our Christmas tree up, Jacob having his innocent child like excitement about everything, and Michael Buble singing Ave Maria in the background. I wouldn't give it up for the world!

So cute! We listen to Christmas music most of the year too! Mostly because Averi makes us...the Chipmunks are her favorite, but weird to hear in July. I love the excitement of my kids too, it reminds me of being a little kid.
We hope to see you guys sometime soon.
