Little Trip To SLC

Last weekend, we had cabin fever. Bad. So we decided to go to Salt Lake City where it was bound to be warmer and we could be outside a little bit. So on Friday morning we drove down and saturday afternoon, we came back. First we went to Discovery Gateway. Jacob loved it! It is a huge museum where kids can touch anything! It was amazing. Then we went back to the hotel, hung out and went swimming. It was so much fun. Then Saturday, we went to Hogle Zoo. It had just opened that previous Monday, so not many people were there. It was in the 50's and wonderful. Jacob loved all the animals...except the giraffe. For some reason, it just really scared Jacob. In the picture it doesn't look like he hate them, but it took a lot of coaxing and bribing to get that face. Anyway, it was much needed and so much fun. Enjoy the pictures!!

And a rhino. And for my mom, because of the order of the pictures, this joke must be put out there. What do you get when you mix an elephant and a rhino?? She hated it when we told this. She didn't have to be in the same room and she would know!!

The giraffe. As you can see, we are on the second level and by the giraffe's head. I think Jacob didn't like being so close to the face. But it was still cool!! Enjoy!!
