When It Rains, It Pours

But luckily for all of us, when the rain stops, the sun comes out. Doesn't it always seem that when one thing goes wrong, everything else follows? I'm sure many of you know of our troubles lately. We have been trying to do our best and deal with what we have been handed. Joe decided to start his own business. It terrified me. All I could think was that not much is surviving these days. And to top everything off, everything in our house is breaking. Our pellet stove is broken, our furnace is broken, our upstairs toilet has a crack in the tank and therefore has made a huge soggy spot on the ceiling of our downstairs bathroom. But luckily for us, the clouds are starting to part. Joe is getting more clients everyday. He has had a service call almost everyday. We have money saved and put away. I am a packrat and buy things that we don't need at the time. I just tell Joe that I am stocking up. But luckily, for times like these, it has come in very handy. We have needed to make fewer trips to Wal-mart or any other store and I am able to spend less on groceries because we have a small food reserve in our storage room. The Lord has his way of blessing us when we do what we are supposed to, thank goodness. I didn't post this so that everyone will feel bad for us. I just did it to complain a little but mostly to express gratitude and thank everyone for all that they have done for us during our time in need. Even if it was just listen to me vent about the work situation.
