Random Facts of our Little Midget

Jacob is growing up so fast, I can hardly believe it. Today we were eating breakfast, and as I watched him eat his cereal, I just started thinking of the quirky little things that Jacob does. And I'm sure that it's not just Jacob, but many kids do these things, but I just find them hilarious.

• He loves shoes. When he wakes up, he immediately gets a pair of his shoes and makes me put them on him. He will walk around with a shirt and diaper on and a pair of his tennis shoes.
  
  
• When he eats cereal (this is what prompted the post) and it is Lucky Charms, he only eats the Marshmellows. Ever. He refuses to eat the other part of the cereal. I know that the marshmellows are the best, but at 16 months, I really didn't think he would have that figured out.
  
• What Joe does, he does. I'm pretty sure that if Joe ate his vegetables, Jacob would be much better at eating his. If he sees Joe eating a sandwich, he will not eat his food like he has it, it has to be like daddy! See picture below. It is Joe's sandwich that he stole and got caught red handed.

• We all know the next one, but I can't leave it out...he LOVES to dance. It doesn't matter if it is church or on the radio, when music comes on, he starts dancing. On Sunday, Joe was in nursery with Jacob and he said they were in a circle singing some songs. When they started, Jacob decided to get up and stand in the middle of the circle and dance. Man, I wish I could have been there for that.


• He loves his books. He could sit there forever just looking through his books and pointing at the pictures.

• He loves Barney. Just to put it into perspective for you just how much we watch it, last night as I was trying to fall asleep, all I could hear was Barney singing "But I say I like AUTUMN!"


• He loves terrifying falls from the ceiling or being forcefully thrown onto a bunch of pillows. He is a thrill seeker.


• His vocabulary is expanding rapidly. It just means that we need to watch what we say around him already. He is trying to mimick what we say all the time.

Well, that is Jacob in a nutshell for you.
